When I buy a laptop, the first thing I do is open the back cover to see if I can replace the storage or memory.
Of course, depending on the PC, the warranty may expire, but the ones I buy are mostly cheap PCs, online auctions, and second-hand PC shops. .
But I'm taking disassembled videos to help myself and others. Here's a list of the computers I've disassembled so far.

The keyboard of recent slim and stylish personal computers is fixed with resin pins, and the keyboard cannot be accessed unless almost all parts are removed. It took a lot of time just to replace it, and I was worried during the disassembly whether I could restore it later. (Returned safely)

The FUJITSU STYLISTIC Q702G is a tablet PC, but the internal configuration is the same as a thin laptop, and the memory cannot be replaced, but the SSD can be replaced if it is of the mSATA type.
The CPU cannot be replaced, but the grease can be reapplied.
Lenovo ideapad 530s AMD Ryzen5 model
The Lenovo ideaPad 530s AMD is a laptop that is relatively easy to disassemble, allowing you to see the entire internals just by opening the back cover.
However, the screws that secure the back cover are Torx type, so a special screwdriver is required.
The CPU is not replaceable, but the memory (2 slots) and M.2 SSD are replaceable.
DELL LATITUDE E4200
DELL LATITUDE E4200 is a thin and light laptop with Core2Duo CPU.
Although it is thin, it has a removable large capacity battery and a memory slot so you can replace the memory.
However, since it is a 1.8-inch MicroSATA for storage, it is difficult to find an SSD or HDD of that size.
I installed the mSATA SSD using soltec Kobo's mSATA → MicroSATA conversion adapter.
FUJITSU LIFE BOOK S904/e
FUJITSU LIFE BOOK S904/j is equipped with the 4th generation Intel Core i5, and the screen adopts a 13.3-inch FullHD LCD with good color development and high definition. It is a laptop computer that can still be used for active duty.
Since it also has a DVD drive bay, it can also be used as a DVD player. A memory replacement cover is included for easy replacement.
However, replacing the storage is a little troublesome because you have to remove the back cover.
I wonder why the CPU cooling fan and cooling fins are not connected in Fujitsu computers... I feel like I can't cool the CPU well because of that.
