I have three Panasonic air conditioners in my home, two of which are the lower model Eolia CS-J228C that can be purchased for around 50,000, and the other is the higher model Eolia that costs over 100,000. CS-AX280D.
This time, I am concerned about the noise from the Eolia CS-J228C outdoor unit installed in my room.
Eolia CS-J228C driving sound< /h2>
The sound of the Eolia CS-J228C indoor unit varies depending on the position of the louver.
Especially when the louver is at the top, the air outlet is narrowed, and the air conditioner will increase the rotation speed of the blower fins to maintain a constant air volume.
As a result, the wind noise will be louder and the driving noise will be higher, so you can reduce the driving noise of the indoor unit by lowering the louver by one level or setting it to automatic and using the "quiet" mode.
Eolia CS-J228C has an outdoor unit called CU-J228C, which may be because it is installed on the veranda, but the driving noise is quite loud.
Even if you're in a room, you'll hear a roaring bass sound (vibrating sound), so it may be painful for people who are sensitive to sound.
It seems that it will be a little better if you put anti-vibration rubber, so if you have a chance, I will try it. (In that case, I will add it to this article)
Comparison of driving sound of CS-J228C and CS-AX280D outdoor units
In the video, in addition to the CS-J228C and CS-AX280D outdoor units, the driving sound of Enefarm Type-S is also compared. I'm here.
It may be due to the installation location, but I felt that the CS-AX280D outdoor unit was quieter than the CS-J228C.
However, on Panasonic's site, the driving sound (driving sound) of the outdoor unit of CS-J228C and CS-AX280D is both 57dB, isn't it?
Since the structure of the outdoor unit is clearly different, it is difficult to imagine that they are exactly the same.
By the way, regarding the indoor unit, CS-J228C is 59dB, which is slightly louder than CS-AX280D (57dB).
If you want quietness, choose a high-end model
Inexpensive air conditioners have cheap materials for both indoor and outdoor units.
For that reason, I thought that the drive sound and vibration could not be suppressed and it sounded like a loud sound was coming out.
Regarding the high-end model, both the indoor and outdoor units seem to be well made, and the driving sound is rather quiet, with a ``wow'' sound rather than a ``wow'' sound.
If you are concerned about troubles in your neighborhood, you may want to purchase a high-end model air conditioner.
However, I think that even high-end model air conditioners will become noisy due to aging, so if you start to worry about the driving sound, it may be better to think that it is time to replace it.
