Battery capacity is a must check when choosing a portable power supply.
Many people would prefer large capacity if possible. However, as the capacity increases, the size and weight of the main unit inevitably tend to increase, which is annoying.
For example, if you carry it by car when camping with a large number of people, it is desirable to have a moderate capacity and light weight when loading it on a motorcycle for solo camping. Have you ever thought, "If it's a variable capacity type, it can handle both...!"?
The BLUETTI AC300+B300, a modular portable power supply project currently underway at CAMPFIRE, fulfills such a request.
By adding an extended battery, the maximum battery capacity is 12,288Wh. And with a maximum output of 3,000 W, it is powerful enough to easily move home appliances. It also has a unique look that is somewhat reminiscent of a stack-type guitar amp.
Connect the extended battery to the main unit!
The "BLUETTI AC300+B300" is configured to use a combination of the main unit's "AC300" and the extended battery "B300".
The main unit is equipped with an input/output unit and a control system, and is equipped with the input/output ports shown in the image above.
Up to four extended batteries with a capacity of 3,072 Wh can be connected, and the capacity can be expanded to a maximum of 12,288 Wh. It may not be an exaggeration to say that this is an innovative portable power supply that has never been seen before!
According to the project page, the daily power consumption of an ordinary household is 11,840Wh. With the "BLUETTI AC300+B300" expanded to the maximum capacity, it seems that you can cover several days' worth of electricity while saving money.
Powerful Output Powers Home Appliances
As I mentioned earlier, the maximum output is 3,000W, which is extremely powerful. Lighting fixtures, notebook PCs, refrigerators, electric blankets, rice cookers, and other high-output home appliances can be used simultaneously.
If you bring it to the campsite, it may not be a dream to enjoy BBQ and tent night with "all electric".
Supports dual solar charging
If you are worried about running out of charge, no matter how large the capacity is, don't worry.
The BLUETTI AC300+B300 supports dual solar charging with a maximum of 2,400Wh, and charging the extended battery can be completed in as little as 1.5 hours.
Also, if you want to use home appliances with a higher output, you can connect two "AC300" in series with the optional connection box "P030A".
By connecting up to eight "B300" units, the battery capacity is increased to 24,576Wh. The output can be increased up to 6,000W. In theory, this could allow several air conditioners to run at the same time. You can tickle the man's heart with a function like a robot that combines and powers up...!
So far, we have introduced various features, but if you watch the official YouTube video posted above, it will be easier to understand its high extensibility. I think it's obvious that you can change the performance finely depending on the setting.
